Due to the fact that I’m working full-time & extremely lazy at the same time- online shopping is like a godsend for me.
So anyhow, after some bad experiences with those dodgy online contact lens sellers- I’ve gotten mighty careful on which site I order from now.
If you’re looking for sites that are safe to order from, I recommend:
1. EyeCandy’s (http://www.eyecandys.com/)
2. EyeLookGood (http://www.eyelookgood.com/)
3. HoneyColor (http://www.honeycolor.com/)
So lets take a closer look at each of these sites…
1. EyeCandy’s
What I Love:
- Great variety!
Their range of contact lenses is quite impressive!
But they don’t just sell contact lenses; albeit they do specialise in them.
They also sell lingerie, cosmetics & accessories! - Website is super user-friendly
I find this a huge plus point! You can shop for your contacts based on their colour, diameter, style or brand. So if you’re the kind that roughly knows what you’re looking for, but doesn’t know exactly what- this is a great way for you to narrow it down. - Awesome customer service
When I had questions about my delivery, their response was super prompt, helpful & friendly! Thumbs up! ⭐ - Super gorgeous packaging!! ❤ ❤
I regret not taking pictures… but I assure you, the packaging was downright gorgeous! And they include their own pamphlets on contact lens care & other stuff. I felt so much love with it!
What I Don’t Love:
- Delivery time
Probably because it isn’t from Singapore- it took longer than promised.
I was under the impression it’ll arrive within 3-4 working days, but I basically waited almost 2 weeks for it.But the plus side was at least the customer service officer replied me to tell me that they didn’t con me or anything & kept me updated on the delivery status! So only order from them if you’re not in a HUGE rush for your contacts.

2. EyeLookGood
What I Love:
- Their name
HAHA! I don’t think that’s a real legit reason to some… but I really do like the word play there. 😉 - They’re super safe
You can tell from their products that they are much more inclined to safety rather than just pure beauty. So somehow buying from them feels like I’m buying from an actual optician- even though it’s online! And I’ve personally tried a number of their products… They’re actually all good stuff. - Delivery is pretty fast
Within 3 working days- they were never later than that before. Love it! - They carry shop brands at cheaper rates
Once upon a time, I’d travel down to Queensway Shopping Centre to get lenses at those cheaper prices. Like about, $2-$4 cheaper? So I always buy a few to make the trip worthwhile. But the beauty of EyeLookGood is that they carry most of what the shops carry- just that it’s cheaper!! 😀
What I Don’t Love:
- The limited variety
Like I said, they’re not so much into beauty… So their contacts aren’t the super gorgeous kind that you can find on EyeCandy’s and HoneyColor. - The website’s appearance…
Okay, this is very subjective. Some people just don’t care about such things, but I’m one of those who do!So I’m personally not a fan of how their website looks like. It looks too basic & just… Like that loh.

3. HoneyColor
What I Love:
- Their website
I like those super girly sort of designs! So this one really appealed to me loads! 😀
Not to mention, their website is crafted in a way that it’s also super user-friendly! Very easy for you to pick a design you like. - Awesomely wide range to choose from
It seems to me that HoneyColor has the widest range of contacts of these 3 sites. You’re literally spoiled for choice- which actually makes it harder to choose from. :|But it’s a problem I don’t mind having! 😉 - They have their customised packagings
Which is actually quite nice & cute. Makes you feel so exclusive as their customer!
What I Don’t Love:
- Delivery time is LITERALLY forever
For those who don’t know, I don’t live with my family. So I move around quite a bit.I placed an order… And it arrived more than 6 whole months later. I actually moved house TWICE during that time. >:(I was just really lucky that the new tenant of my old place contacted me to tell me I had a delivery. This isn’t the first time. I placed orders with them a couple of times and they always took a long time to arrive! Like at least a whole month. Are they doing this on purpose? So that we will buy more to keep on standby because of the slow shipment? - Their customer service sucks to the core
As you read above, the delivery time is horrid.
I could write a book, retire, travel the world & probably even reincarnate by the time my order reaches my delivery address.During those times, I contacted customer service when my orders didn’t come within a week plus. But there was hardly any reply! The first time at least there was some kind of reply- telling me that there has been a delay. (Which, by the way, they should’ve taken the initiative to inform me about!)Then the 2nd time when they took more than 6 months to deliver, I didn’t get any replies from them at all!! Not a single peep. I was almost convinced the business was closing down or something. And there wasn’t really a point of bringing it up to CASE- it’ll just be a waste of money & time… AGAIN. So thanks, but no thanks.

So I’ll probably never buy again from HoneyColor, no matter what new super gorgeous designs they might come up with.
I’d shop at EyeLookGood for more practical sort of lenses- maybe those that I can go travelling in. Spending hours without feeling like my eyeball dehydrated itself in its socket. And for times when I really need my lenses within the week.
For gorgeousness, it’ll definitely be EyeCandy’s! ❤
Alright, that’ll be it!
XOXO, G.

Hey Geraldine, nice round-up!
Another site to get your contact lenses online is SeeChic (http://sg.seechic.com/).
We carry all major contact lenses brands (including GEO), are based here in Singapore and offer complimentary eye-tests by our own optometrists, because we care most about eyecare (I read about your eye infection so I’m sure you understand how much that matters…).
Don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail if you want to try us out!
Cheers,
Max
